This is twenty-one-year-old Karen Gillan who will star alongside the new Time Lord, Matt Smith, when the show returns to BBC One in spring 2010.
Karen has appeared in an episode of Dr Who before, as the soothsayer in The Fires Of Pompeii, but is a relative unknown otherwise.
