My favourite children author Eoin Colfer has been given permission from the widow of Douglas Adams to write another sequel to Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy bringing back Arthur Dent et el.
I think it will work what about you?

I know a lot of sci-fi is turned into those new fangled moving images but I found an interesting list of sci fi books, many from way, way back in the day, which are described by the compiler as 'libertarian'. Some authors are obvious for including on any such list.
Some of the modern ones listed surprised me though . I am not sure they can really be seen as being sci-fi at all, i.e. Harry Potter?

It set me thinking though, who is writing the best sci-fi these days?

Anyone, anywhere is there anything NEW to watch on T.V.---bored,sick to death of repeats and more repeats on all Sci Fi channels.I also seem to have read the best writers for the last 45yrs, nothing new as I do not really enjoy mystical magic,etc.----sad for an avid reader and watcher of Sci Fi books and programmes.

The team behind the US version of 'The Office' have been hired by Columbia studios to make 'Ghost Busters III'. They hope to tempted back Bill Murrey (57), Dan Akroyd (56) Harold Ramis (63) and Ernie Hudson (62) to once again don their Proton Packs.
I hope they also retain Rick Moranis and Annie Potts as they were my favourites.
