Tonight I watched a 'Play for today' TV program that escaped me in the 80's.
'The flip side of Dominic Hyde' deals with a man Dominic Hyde (Peter Firth), who lives in the future (2130). His job is to pilot a flying saucer back to the 1980's to study why buses never ran on time. He is set off on a mission by his great aunt Mavis to find his Great Great Grandfather who lived in London.
His fruitless search ends up with him getting involved with Jane (Caroline Langrishe) getting her pregnant and creating a paradox by fathering his own Great Great Grandfather.
Next week they will air the sequel, which I have already saved.
