  • Who will be Who?

With rumours abounding that now that Russell T. Davies has left the TARDIS that David Tennant will not be far behind, speculation as to the 11th incarnation have already surfaced. Names already in the mix are Robert Carlyle, Bill Nighy and James Nesbitt.

But will there be a complete change? Will we see the first female doctor?

So who would you choose for Who?

Shame that he has already been in the series, but I would have gone for Simon Pegg with Nick Frost as a side kick....

  • Survivors remake - early casting

The BBC remake of 'Survivors' has thrown up some interesting 'big name' casting.
Adrian Hodges, re-telling of the classic 1970s BBC Terry Nation drama series will include:

Max Beesley as Tom Price a prisoner locked in his cell while all around him are dying When the viral outbreak begins.

Other names include Freema Agyeman (Doctor Who and Torchwood),Julie Graham (The No 1 Ladies' Detective Agency) and Paterson Joseph (Peep Show).

The story will be written in the present day setting and involve a resilient group of survivors of a world-wide plague having to deal with no society, no police and no law and order, they face terrible dangers, not just the daily struggle for food and water but also the deadly threat from other survivors

    Can't wait

  • I have died and gone to heaven

If the news that Steven Moffatt will take over as 'God' in charge on Dr Who when Russell T. Davies steps down at the end of this series isn't enough...

Then we hear the first thing Steven does is to invite Neil (Good Omens, Stardust) Gaiman as a future writer, I am salivating as I type. So with Steven and Neil it will have two of the finest writers around and the series can only go from strength to strength.
